How it works
A few check-ins a day. The rest will wait its turn.
SörgOS is being built so the admin comes to you at times you choose, already drafted, with the next thing first. You’ll read, decide, and get back to the work that pays.
1 · The check-in
At times you choose, a short list of what will need your yes.
You’ll set the check-in times, say eight, twelve and five. Each check-in will list what needs your yes, numbered. You’ll approve with a tick, type “yes 1 3”, or send a voice note. Type “why 2” and it will tell you why item 2 is there.
Your hours, your rules. You will choose the check-in times, the quiet hours and the targets it will work to.
2 · Pending work
The next thing first, by your own targets.
Everything waiting will sit in one list, ordered by how long it has waited against the target you set for it. It is being built never to order work by who the customer is. When something gets close to its target, it will say so before it slips.
3 · The draft
Ten minutes to change your mind.
Every item will show you the draft first: the reply, the invoice, the follow-up. You’ll be able to change it, approve it, or leave it for later. Once you approve a message, it will wait ten minutes before it goes, with Send now and Stop this one right there.
4 · The reasons
You’ll be able to ask “why?” about anything.
Every item will carry its reasons: what came in, what was checked, and why it is waiting for you. The work it will do on its own will carry its reasons too, in the history, so nothing is a black box.
