Privacy Policy

This website is run by [to be confirmed: registered company name] (registration number [to be confirmed: company registration number]), [to be confirmed: registered address]. That company is the responsible party for the personal information described here.

1. What this site collects

Nothing from you directly: the site has no forms, accounts or advertising. It does count visits, as section 2 describes.

The site sets no cookies in your browser.

It keeps scroll positions in this tab’s session storage, so going back returns you to the same place on a page. Your browser clears them when you close the tab, and they are never sent.

It keeps your light or dark display setting (the system’s, until you pick one) in this browser’s local storage, under the names mode-watcher-mode and mode-watcher-theme. They hold only that setting, stay on your device and are never sent.

If you email us at [email protected], to hear when SörgOS opens or with a question, your email and your address are kept in our mailbox. We use them only to answer you and, if you asked, to tell you when SörgOS opens. We delete them when you ask: write to the same address.

2. Counting visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, which site or link led to them (the referrer), from which countries, on which kind of device, browser and operating system, and how fast the pages load. We use the counts to keep the site working and to see whether it is useful. They are not used to identify you or to advertise to you.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or other storage in your browser and does not track you across other sites. It lists what it measures in its Web Analytics documentation. What it measures and how long it keeps it are set out in its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

3. What our host logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it records the IP address of each visitor, with the browser and the time of the request, in its server logs. It keeps those logs for the period set out in its own privacy policy. An IP address can identify a person, so we tell you: it is used to deliver and protect the site.

4. When SörgOS opens

SörgOS itself is not open yet, and this site has no sign-in. Before it opens, this notice will be updated to say what the app keeps, why, and for how long.

5. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Send the request to [to be confirmed: email address for data requests]; it is answered by [to be confirmed: Information Officer]. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.
